John McGowan

John is the original founder of Specialist Cost Auditors back in 2004 and has established the role of Business Development Director. His initial experience was established in the manufacturing Industry were he spend ten years with a leading UK Group of companies. John spend four years with the world's largest cost reduction company Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) before deciding to bring a team of like minded individuals together to form SCA. John's real talent and what he is really recognised for within the Business World is being a networker and he has established a significant contact base across the UK and Ireland to which he refers to on a regular basis to grow the business for the company. John works very closely with Ian Anderson in a duel role for SCA.

Simon Aldred

Simon Aldred has been Operations Director with SCA since 2004 and based out of our Northampton Office. In this role he has structured the operational side of the Business to work extremely efficiently for the maximum benefit to all clients. Simon spent several years in senior supply chain positions in the UK and Italy. His background combines strategic sourcing with low-cost country sourcing. He has delivered robust and sustainable savings across a range of categories covering both indirect and direct spend. He has led projects with major high street retailers as well as large construction, manufacturing, haulage, and professional service clients. Simon is happy to speak on all aspects of procurement including low-cost country sourcing, outsourced procurement, rapid cost savings and strategic sourcing.

Barry Cooper

Barry has been Client Relationship Director for SCA since 2004 and works out of our Birmingham Office. He is an extremely experienced Interim Executive with blue chip corporate and public sector procurement experience that combine’s real vision with outstanding leadership and man-management capabilities. An impressive track record within Automotive, Electronics, Construction, Manufacturing, the Public Sector, Stockholding, Distribution and Service sectors. Expertise in productive, non-productive, utilities, facilities purchasing and supply chain management, building sustained added value, developing close partnering agreements and synergies that deliver improved quality and performance in supply with year-on-year cost reductions. Extensive experience in strategy development, programme management and organisational change management, with specific expertise in category management, centralising the function and multi-location purchasing. Operated successfully in blue chip organisations, the Public Sector and SME’s, a strong influencer who combines a flexible approach with delivering real impact and sustained benefits to the bottom line. Has consistently demonstrated the ability to assess the situation speedily and prioritise the sequence of events required to deliver a successful and timely solution. Has experienced and managed change throughout a varied and interesting senior management career. Totally mobile, having worked for several extended periods away from home.

Ian Anderson

Ian has been Sales Director for SCA since 2004 and works primarily out of our Cork Office although he does spend alot of time in the Belfast operation and regularly travels to our other two offices based in England. He has a wealth of experience and has an excellent track record particularly in the Financial, Telecommunications and Freight sectors of Industry. Ian's knowledge of Procurement, his hands on approach and his extreme flexibility in all areas of Business makes him an invaluable member of SCA team. He has consistently shown his ability by the quality and amount of clients he has regularly brought to Specialist Cost Auditors.

John O Driscoll

John O as he is better known joined the SCA team in 2005 as Director for all the Business conducted in Southern Ireland. He operated his own very successful cost reduction company before deciding to bring his own clients and wealth of experience under the umbrella of SCA. John O is a former accountant working for KPMG, together with an established career in the manufacturing Industry he has totalled up more than 20 years experience between the two industries. Over the last eight years he has developed a firm and established name in the cost reduction Industry with the vast majority of his clients based in Southern Ireland. John O also has extreme knowledge and contacts from within the Automotive, Hotel and Manufacturing sectors of Business.
